Impersonation of Sanlam on Telegram

A malicious third party is purporting to be or act on behalf of Sanlam through the unauthorised use of Telegram as a communication channel. Please be informed that Sanlam does not conduct business via Telegram, does not have a Telegram account, and that this is indeed a scam.

If you ever doubt you’re speaking with a Sanlam representative over the phone, end the call and dial 0860 726 526.

Anonymous reporting

Our Fraud and Ethics Hotline, managed by an independent external provider, will guarantee your anonymity if you choose this option. You won’t need to give your identity or identifying information and we won't be able to contact you for further information.

  3. Incidents reported on this site are sent directly to the Forensic Services management team and only they have access to these reports.

  4. When you call the anonymous line you are not required to give your name or any personal details.
