    1. Help us keep you safe from fraud and unethical behaviour

      At Sanlam, we are committed to protecting our clients, staff, and partners. That’s why we encourage everyone to report any behaviour that seems dishonest, unethical, or corrupt.

      If you suspect fraud or notice anything unusual involving your Sanlam policy or account, please report it. You can do so confidentially or anonymously through the following options:

      • Complete a reporting form

        You may be asked to fill out a form and submit a sworn affidavit with any supporting documents you have.

      • New Policy Fraud - Policies or deductions made from your account without your consent.

      • Claims Fraud - Claims submitted on your policy that you didn’t make or know about.

      • Check Your Bank Statements Regularly - Look out for any unfamiliar deductions related to insurance policies.

      • Never Sign Blank Forms - Make sure all forms are fully completed before signing anything.

      • Double-Check OTP Approvals - If you receive a One-Time Pin (OTP), make sure it matches the right policy and action you approved.

      • Review Your Policy Information Often - Check your policy documents and schedules to make sure there are no changes or withdrawals you didn’t request.

      • Never allow Financial Advisors and Brokers to sign your application forms on your behalf
